Designing CrossFit Saratoga Springs

The Logo:

Saratoga Springs CrossFit had a very clear concept of their logo in mind, emphasizing the SS in CrossFit since it also stood for “Saratoga Springs”. I went with a strong distresses typeface and implemented the SS int he kettlebell. I typically like to create 2 versions of one logo a “tall” version and a “wide” version so that it can be used accordingly across different marketing materials and yet maintain branding.

The Business Cards:

I wanted to do a little something different than the standard straight across layout so I slanted the logo and copy at a 45 degree angel and used content frames to emphasize and separate content. The back features the logo, web address, and a web link QR Code for smart devices.

The Flyer:

The flyer was designed on a 8.5×5.5 vertical sheet, emphasis was put on imagery with the copy framed in content areas.

The Website:

I really wanted to do something a little different than what I usually do for other CrossFit boxes, I used a static background image to incorporate their logo and a combination of dark and light elements where used to bring emphasis and contrast to the content. Additionally their site is interlinked with their Facebook page so that posts are automatically added to their wall and comments from both Facebook and their website are synced.
